Coldstream is a vibrant community in the greater Vernon area. It is only fitting that as a church in the centre of this community we too should be vibrant! A healthy local church values their community so we are committed to serving Coldstream and Vernon the way we believe Jesus would.
That is why you will see us around the community involved in such things as:

These are just a few examples. We are involved because we care and because we want to pass the message on that the Christian life is the greatest life there is.

“Teach me a travel song…” one poet pleads. Songs have always been part of our journey. Each generation’s songs script their aspirations, their disappointments and their relationships along the way.
It’s amazing that while the music changes the lyrics carry common themes – where are we going, what’s wrong with life that we should go anywhere, what do we hope to find there and who are we going with that can make the journey worthwhile? The art of pulling together a great playlist for a road trip is a high honour! Even the ancient Hebrews had a playlist of songs they pulled together for their road trips. This playlist marked out their journey to God. They even had a name for them, The Psalms of Ascent.
This fall we at Coldstream Christian Church are exploring this playlist in our Sunday services and invite you to join us to consider your own road trip, your own journey to God.
